Behind the Project
Moments of Magic (2025) is a collection of ten tracks inspired by a visit to Iceland in April 2025, when I witnessed the aurora borealis. Standing beneath the greens and purples, it felt like time had paused. This project captures that feeling of awe and wonder that nature inspires.
The music explores shimmering tonal colours: orchestral strings supported by piano, woodwind and soft brass. Through slowly evolving minimalist textures, the development captures the shimmers in the sky of the aurora. The collection of tracks share production features including instrumentation, reverb, sound design and tempi; allowing them to seamlessly blend within a production requiring multiple cues.

Written for advertising and sync, each cue features a clear emotional trajectory with purposeful builds and memorable climaxes. The collection is designed to elevate storytelling while remaining unobtrusive, making it ideal for advertising, documentaries, television and branded content.
